What it's for

Special grass seeds are grown in the nursery and have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special grass seeds are a Special type resource you get in the nursery or the farm laboratory on the main farm. They are used back on the fields, where they let you grow grass much faster than with the regular Dollar recipe. They work as a booster for grass production on the field, the fertile field, the wintry fertile field and other field types.

How to get it

In the nursery you make them from grass and two other resources, the recipe gives 3 units and as the nursery level rises the time shortens from 2 hours 30 minutes down to 45 minutes. In the farm laboratory from level 5 upwards there is a faster recipe from 4 units of common catalyst and 2 units of grass, which gives 2 units of seeds instantly. If you have catalysts saved up, this route is clearly faster.

What to do with it

Put the seeds into fields, whether it is the regular field, fertile field, wintry fertile field, rural fertile field, autumnal fertile field, glorious field, deluxe field or spectacular field, where one unit of seeds grows grass in just 25 minutes instead of 2 hours 30 minutes with the regular recipe.

Tip from a veteran player Use the seeds mainly when you need grass fast at the last minute, for example because of hay or cream production already under way, leave regular grass restocking to the cheaper Dollar recipe.

Most common mistake It is a waste to spend the seeds on a field where speed does not matter, because they are a pricier resource worth saving for moments of time pressure.
