Orchards Main farm

It's the best value grape building in the game, because you get it cheap and early and it grows with you all game long for nothing but dollars.

What it's for

Not only much bigger than the regular orchard, this enormous orchard also comes with a higher production output.

Produces

The Glorious vineyard is a large 6x12 orchard on the Main farm that turns the same silo fertilizer as the Efficient vineyard into red grapes and leaves. Unlike the gold variant you don't buy it in the shop, you unlock it gradually by level, and the first level is available from level 5 for a mere 4900 dollars. The ninth level only opens up at level 134, so this is a building you'll be upgrading for practically the whole game. It's the go-to grape building for anyone who manages their dollars sensibly and doesn't want to cover grape production with gold.

When to build it

Build it the moment it unlocks at level 5, because an entry price of just under 5000 dollars is negligible at that point and you'll be collecting grapes practically from the start of the game. Then just follow up with the next levels as your level allows, from 18 through 29, 39, 47, 56, 61, 66 and up to 134 for the last one. One is plenty for a single Main farm in the long run, because it takes up a fair chunk of space and the production grows nicely with the levels on its own.

Is it worth upgrading

Production rises with the levels exactly as it does with the Efficient vineyard, from 400 grapes and 8 leaves on the first level to 861 grapes and 16 leaves at the top, still in the same 5 hours per batch of fertilizer. The upgrade costs, though, go through the roof, from 35 thousand on the second level up to 7.28 million dollars on the ninth, and the worker requirement climbs with them from 6 to 21. So it pays to upgrade it steadily, as your level allows and as you have spare dollars, rather than trying to catch up on every level at once.

Tip from a veteran player Don't rush the higher levels until you've sorted out happiness for 21 workers at once, otherwise the vineyard will push up production costs across the whole farm by more than it adds in grapes.
Most common mistake Players stop paying attention to this vineyard once it's stuck on a low level, because the next step needs something like level 66 or 134, and they leave it running below its capacity far longer than they need to, even when they've long had both the level and the workers for a higher tier.
