The Colossal chicken coop is the third version of the large coop - the name promises the biggest setup, but the stats, from the 8x8 footprint to the output and the level prices, are identical to the Chunky and Capacious chicken coops. It produces eggs, manure and feathers like the other big coops, and like them it isn't sold in the shop the normal way. It fits anywhere you need eggs in bigger amounts than an ordinary coop can give and you don't want to eat up space with more small animal buildings.

When to build it

The first level is available from player level 13, and you unlock the rest step by step up to level 79. Once you get the Colossal chicken coop, it's worth building it straight in place of the ordinary coop - the higher output saves you farm space you'd otherwise need for more small animal buildings.

Is it worth upgrading

Here too, upgrading lifts output noticeably - from 200 to 380 eggs and from 80 to 170 manure between the first and the highest level with basic feed. The worker requirement grows from 8 to 26 and the price from 500,000 dollars at the first level up to 150 million at the ninth, with the tenth step costing 15,000 diamonds.

Tip from a veteran player It's worth putting better feeds like super chicken feed or seaweed feed into the Colossal chicken coop - according to the game they add bonus experience points to production on top of what ordinary chicken feed gives.

Most common mistake A typical mistake is upgrading the coop to the higher levels without raising feed production in the windmill - without enough feed, even a high-level Colossal chicken coop earns you the same as a lower-level one.
