What it's for

The chicken coop produces eggs and produces dung for the silo as a by-product. The feed for it can be made from corn in the mill.

Chicklet's coop is a special variant of the classic Chicken coop on the Main farm - it works just like a regular chicken coop, meaning it turns chicken feed into eggs and gives manure to the silo as a by-product. It's a smaller building measuring 5x5, so it fits almost anywhere on the farm, and since it can't be bought normally in the shop, you get it more as a reward than as a standard building from the range. It suits every player from level 0, because chicken feed is made from corn right at the start of the game.

When to build it

As soon as you get it, build it right away - at level one it costs just 1500 dollars and construction takes 15 minutes, so it won't strain your budget at all, and the eggs will come in handy for a whole range of other recipes. Since it can't be bought in the shop, you don't have to decide how many to build, you'll practically always have just one.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off from the low levels already, because the costs up to level four range only in the thousands to tens of thousands of dollars, and the egg yield from regular chicken feed grows from 31 units at level one to 62 units at maximum. The oddity is level ten, which isn't paid in dollars but in 15,000 diamonds, and construction takes 2 days 18 hours - only go for that if you have diamonds to spare and want to squeeze the maximum out of the building, meaning up to 24 manure and 80 eggs from seaweed feed.

Tip from a veteran player Seaweed feed is processed instantly and also carries a bonus of 1200 XP, so load it into the coop as a priority - you get eggs practically immediately plus a hefty dose of experience.

Most common mistake Players often leave the coop running on plain chicken feed even when they have better resources at hand like super feed or seaweed feed, needlessly missing out on a higher egg yield and bonus XP.
