What it's for

A pretty good construction material for buildings. You can produce them in the timber and textiles factory.

Water pipes are a building material from the Cooperative village, produced in the Wood and textile factory. They cannot be bought, so they depend entirely on production from bamboo sticks, latex milk and slag wool. Unlike paint or plywood, they do not go on into any further recipe that I know of.

How to get it

The recipe stays the same from level 51 upwards, 300 bamboo sticks, 22 latex milk and 13 slag wool for just 5 units, but production takes a short 15 minutes. The hardest part is getting hold of 300 bamboo sticks, this quantity tends to be the bottleneck of the whole production.

What to do with it

Because water pipes cannot be used in any further recipe that I know of, they mostly end up as goods for sale or for customer contracts in the market hall.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start producing water pipes, build up a sufficient stock of bamboo sticks first, because 300 units per batch can empty your warehouse faster than you expect.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is producing water pipes batch by batch without a stock of bamboo sticks, so production stands still waiting for the material to be restocked.
