What it's for

Special sardine eggs have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special sardine roe is a special version of roe with a different growth speed and yield than the regular sardine roe. I stock it in the Winter field, where Sardines hatch from it. The farms where I use it are the Viking farm, the Northern lights farm and the Festive farm. In the game it is available from level 30 and I cannot buy it in the shop.

How to get it

The roe has no production recipe and cannot be bought in the shop, even though a base price of 500 Gold is listed for it. It only reaches my warehouse as a reward from events, for completed missions or from mystery boxes. Anyone who wants Sardines from the special roe has to rely on these rewards, not on buying.

What to do with it

The roe has a single use. I stock it in the Winter field, where Sardines grow from it. This applies on all three farms where the Winter field is located.

Tip from a veteran player Since the roe works on three different farms, use it wherever Sardines are currently short, even on a farm where you did not receive it.

Most common mistake A common mistake is leaving the special roe sitting in the warehouse while continuing to buy or produce only the regular roe. The special variant then goes to waste.
