Special pea seeds come in handy when you want to harvest peas more often, but they require either patience in the Nursery or catalysts from the laboratory.

What it's for

Special pea seeds are grown in the nursery and have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special pea seeds are a special kind of seed that I grow in the Nursery or produce in the Farm laboratory. They have a different growth speed and yield than regular peas and are used as alternative seeds directly on the fields.

How to get it

In the Nursery the recipe uses peas along with two other ingredients, and the time shortens with the Nursery's level from 2 hours 30 minutes down to 45 minutes for the same 4 pieces. From level 6, though, there's a much faster route through the Farm laboratory - all it takes is common catalyst x2 and peas x1 for 2 pieces practically instantly. If you have the laboratory unlocked and catalysts at hand, it is clearly more efficient. The seeds can't be bought.

What to do with it

I use special pea seeds to sow fields - the Field, the Fertile field and the Wintry fertile field - the peas are then ready to harvest in 25 minutes instead of an hour, even though the yield is a bit lower than from regular seeds.

Tip from a veteran player As soon as you have the Farm laboratory unlocked, make your pea seeds with the catalyst and leave the Nursery for other ingredients instead.

Most common mistake The mistake is sticking with production in the Nursery only, even when you already have the faster recipe in the Farm laboratory available.
