What it's for

Bred in the seal pond and can be sold for viking coins.

Seals work much like penguins, you raise them in the seal pond on the Viking farm, the Northern lights farm and the Festive farm from level 30 and sell them for Snow dollars. The main difference is the length of the raising cycle, because a seal cycle takes considerably longer than penguins. They aren't bought in the shop, only raised in the pond.

How to get it

Regular and premium seal feed take a full 8 hours at all pond levels and give the same number of seals, premium adds 1000 XP on top, so it pays to use it whenever you have it available. Event seaweed feed, on the other hand, produces seals instantly and adds 2400 XP, which thanks to the eight-hour baseline is an even bigger jump than with penguins.

What to do with it

Seals only go to sale for Snow dollars, they aren't processed any further.

Tip from a veteran player I plan the eight-hour seal production for the night or for a time when I won't be coming back to the farm for a while, so the long production time doesn't go to waste.

Most common mistake It doesn't pay to feed seals regular feed when you have premium on hand, it takes just as long, you only lose out on 1000 XP for free.
