What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed Nordic fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Rosehip seeds are one of the secondary resources for the Greenhouse and, like the other Nordic seeds, you'll find them on the Main farm, Gourmet farm and Flower farm from level 30. Once planted they grow into Rosehips, a fruit meant mainly for Captain Barnacle's ship when it docks in the harbor. Price-wise they cost twice as much as gooseberry seeds, so they belong to the middle tier of Nordic seeds. Without a recipe there is no way to upgrade them, though, unless you go for their special version.

How to get it

You can't buy them in the shop and I have no recipe for crafting them in the game, so the only way is to already have them saved up, from whatever source. The listed price of 110 Gold is their base value, not an amount you could buy the seeds for in the shop.

What to do with it

You plant them in the Greenhouse, wait for the Rosehips and then load those onto Captain Barnacle's ship once it docks in the harbor and asks for them. Rosehips can't be sold, so if the ship doesn't want anything right now, they'll wait for you in your inventory.

Tip from a veteran player Don't plan with rosehip seeds as automatically as with the cheaper gooseberry ones, they are twice as expensive, so first make sure you'll actually use the grown rosehips.
Most common mistake It's easy for a player to mix up rosehip seeds with the cheaper gooseberry ones and waste the more expensive resource on a less urgent request.
