What it's for

Rice seeds can be planted in fields.

Rice seeds are a secondary resource for sowing on the Main farm, priced midway between cheap seeds and the pricier ones. I buy them in the shop, there's no production recipe for them in the game. Planted on a field, they grow into Rice, which you then sell straight away or use to fill orders at the market hall. So it's a simple one-step input with no further follow-up production.

How to get it

I buy rice seeds in the shop for 85 Gold each, the game offers no other way to get them. It pays to buy them continuously according to how much Rice I currently need for selling and for orders, because the price per unit is no longer as negligible as with the cheapest seeds.

What to do with it

I sow rice seeds on any type of field, from the regular Field and Fertile field through the Wintry, Rural and Autumnal fertile field to the Glorious field, Deluxe field or Spectacular field, and Rice grows in every one of them.

Tip from a veteran player Buy rice seeds in batches according to your current need for rice, so you don't needlessly fill the barn with seeds you won't use right now.

Most common mistake A common mistake is buying rice seeds in one big go just because there happens to be time, and then finding out that more rice grew from them than you can manage to sell or deliver to orders.
