What it's for

Rice grows in fields.

Rice is one of the cheaper field crops, you harvest it from the Field, Fertile field and its other variants such as the Wintry, Rural or Autumnal fertile field. With a base price of 200 Dollars apiece it is no holy grail among crops, more a crop for quickly topping up stock and fulfilling smaller orders. You cannot buy it in the shop, so you have to grow it yourself.

How to get it

Sow Rice seeds and after 55 minutes you harvest a crop whose amount grows with the field level from 180 pieces at level 1 up to 380 pieces at level 11 of the fertile field, while the growing time does not change. The fastest and only way to get rice is therefore simply planting it again and again on the highest field level you have.

What to do with it

Rice is not processed any further, you sell it directly or use it to fulfil customer contracts in the market hall.

Tip from a veteran player Feel free to leave rice on an ordinary field and save your best, most upgraded plot for a more expensive crop, even an ordinary field at a higher level gives you over 300 pieces of rice per harvest.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is giving rice your best plots just because it grows fast, with a base price of 200 Dollars apiece it earns far less than, say, sunflowers or yellow hibiscus from the same set of fields.
