What it's for

Can be used on a peacock coop to start production. Made from peanuts in the tropical mill.

Peacock feed is made in the Tropical mill from peanuts and you use it to start production in the peacock enclosure. It is the ordinary version of the feed, available from level 30, and it can't be bought in the shop. It belongs to the basic cycle of the island farm - without feed the enclosure produces neither peacocks nor manure.

How to get it

As the Tropical mill levels up, both the cost and the production time drop - at level 1 you pay 600 peanuts for 10 pieces and wait 40 minutes, at level 4 it takes just 450 peanuts and it's done in 7 minutes. There is no other option in the game than making it from peanuts, so it pays to upgrade the mill rather than worry about buying it.

What to do with it

Its only use is to run the peacock enclosure, which gives you peacocks and, as a by-product, manure - which you will want back in the Silo for making island fertilizer.

Tip from a veteran player Keep an eye on your peanut stock in advance so the peacock enclosure doesn't sit around waiting for raw materials.

Most common mistake A frequent mix-up is confusing the ingredients and worrying about a shortage of manure instead of peanuts, which is what this feed is actually made from.
