Peacocks are bred in the peacock coop. They need peacock feed, which is made from peanuts in the tropical mill.

The peacock pen is the first of the animal buildings on the Island farm, where peanut-based feed gets you peacocks and manure. It takes up 6x6, so less space than the lemur enclosure, and it offers three feed options including an event version made from seaweed that finishes instantly. It suits players who already have the tropical mill running and want to start putting it to use.

When to build it

It makes sense to build it once your mill is churning out peacock feed regularly, otherwise the pen will just sit there empty. The first level costs 25000 Island dollars and takes an hour and a half to build, so there's no reason to hesitate for long.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is definitely worth it, because the peacock output grows from 400 to 1360 units for the same batch of ten feed and the same 2 hours 50 minutes, while manure rises from 210 to 320. The price climbs gradually up to 2500000 Island dollars at level four, and so do the worker requirements, with 20 needed at max level.

Tip from a veteran player Premium peacock feed gives an extra 300 experience per batch compared to the regular feed for the same result, so it's worth using whenever you have some on hand.

Most common mistake Players only ever use plain peacock feed and ignore the premium version, throwing away easy experience for no downside at all.
