What it's for

Pasture grass grows in sugar fields and can be made into alpaca feed in the sugar mill.

Nutritious grass is the fourth crop of the candy fields and the only one that does not end up in sweets but in alpaca feed, which the Sugar mill makes from it. It therefore serves alpaca breeding, not the production of candy ingredients like the rest of the field. It is available from level 30 together with the whole Candy farm. Without it you cannot make alpaca feed.

How to get it

The shop does not offer grass; it grows exclusively on the candy field. For 144 Candy dollars you get 230 units in 8 hours at field level 1, and 290 units for the same price and time at level 4, so the difference between levels is much smaller here than with the field's other crops. Special nutritious grass seeds yield only 30 units at level 4, but in just 10 minutes.

What to do with it

Grass ends up in the Sugar mill, where it is turned into alpaca feed.

Tip from a veteran player Since the field level raises the grass yield by only a few dozen units, there is no point chasing a higher level for its sake; instead, run more batches back to back.
Most common mistake A common mistake is expecting the same jump from a higher field level with grass as with grapes or cane; here the increase is only slight.
