What it's for
Did you know Johnny Apple doesn't put cocoa powder in his gingerbread dough? A little trick he picked up from his granny.
Original gingerbread hearts are the most expensive of the bakery products in this group, and the game even mentions the cocoa-free recipe Johnny Apple got from his grandmother. I bake them at the Bakery stand on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm from the building's first level, and one cycle takes a full 48 minutes. The base price of 60000 dollars and the long production time make this a product I would rather leave running in the background than try to collect every few moments.
How to get it
Hearts cannot be bought in the shop, the only way is to make them. At the first and second recipe level I get by with Wheat, Eggs and Milk, ingredients I normally have on hand. From the third level the recipe switches to Honey, Cocoa powder and Sugar, so I only move up to the higher levels once I have those ingredients secured, otherwise my forty-eight-minute batch sits unfinished because an ingredient is missing.
What to do with it
I save the hearts for the customer contracts with the highest reward, because they are the most expensive product from the bakery stand in this group and it would be a waste to sell them off normally.
