What it's for

Made from cocoa beans in the crushing mill and can be made into candy in the candy factory.

Cocoa powder is made in the grinding mill from cocoa beans, which you first have to grow in the cocoa orchard. You process it further in the candy factory and at the bakery stand. It isn't bought in the shop, it's purely a product of your own production. It's available from farm level 30, the same as cocoa beans.

How to get it

The recipe improves considerably with a higher mill level - bean consumption drops from 125 to 65 units and the time shortens from over 5 hours to 3 minutes. So before you start the queue, have enough cocoa beans from the orchard, because the mill is only the second step in the chain. There's no other way to get it in the game.

What to do with it

Cocoa powder goes to the candy factory for sugar decorations and chocolate and to the bakery stand for original gingerbread hearts.

Tip from a veteran player Work out your cocoa bean consumption in advance - even at the highest mill level you need dozens of them for a single batch, so the cocoa orchard has to be running ahead of time.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is starting the mill on cocoa powder without a stock of beans from the orchard and then waiting for the beans to grow while the mill sits empty.
