What it's for

Orchids grow in the meadows of your flower farm.

Orchids are a Primary product of the Flower farm and they only unlock at level 40, so later than prickly pears or water lilies on the Gourmet farm. They grow in the Meadow, the Friendship meadow and the Fertile meadow, and just the same in the Glorious meadow, Deluxe meadow and Spectacular meadow, always from Orchid seeds, and the base selling price is 650 Dollars. The harvest takes 45 minutes regardless of the building level, and you can't buy orchids in the shop.

How to get it

You plant one Orchid seed in any of your meadows and wait 45 minutes, with the yield ranging from 44 units at level 1 up to 91 units at level 9, and the Friendship meadow and the Fertile meadow even have a tenth level with 96 units. That's why it pays to keep upgrading the meadow where you grow your orchids, because the harvest time stays the same and only the yield goes up.

What to do with it

You sell orchids for dollars, and the base price of 650 dollars makes them a quick and steady source of income for the Flower farm, much like prickly pears on the Gourmet farm.

Tip from a veteran player Upgrade the meadow where you grow orchids first, because with the same 45 minute harvest a higher level gives you dozens of units more.

Most common mistake An early mistake is mixing orchids up with the similar prickly pears and expecting to plant them in the Garden as well, but orchids only grow in the meadows of the Flower farm.
