What it's for

These very powerful seeds are made on the obsidian farm and can be used on fields on your main farm

Obsidian turnip seed XL is a very powerful version of the turnip seed from the Obsidian farm. It's made in the Winter garden and used on fields on the Main farm. It's the stronger counterpart to the basic turnip seed, with double the resource consumption. I can't buy it in the shop, it's purely something you produce yourself. It's the strongest turnip seed you can make in the Winter garden.

How to get it

One unit takes 4 Special turnip seeds and 168 Obsidian manure plus one more resource, and production runs for 2 hours, the same as the basic version. Since the production time is identical but the XL version eats twice the resources, I only make it when I have enough Obsidian manure for both versions at once. The recipe offers no route other than producing it.

What to do with it

I use it on fields and fertile fields on the Main farm, where it grows into turnips, exactly like the basic turnip seed.

Tip from a veteran player Top up your Obsidian manure stock before you start a run of XL seed, so you don't run dry halfway through the batches.

Most common mistake It's easy to end up making XL turnip seed when plain seed without the obsidian upgrade would have done the job on that field, and the manure goes to waste.
