It is a Primary product available on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm, so you can slot it into production from practically anywhere. One batch needs herring, eggs, onions and beetroot, so it ties fishing and vegetable production together. You cannot buy it in the shop, which makes it a purely farm-made product that depends on your own supply of raw materials. It has a base value of 23866 dollars, which makes it one of the more valuable dishes in the game.

How to get it

The only way to get Labskaus is through The Mermaid Bay, and the recipe is the same on all seven levels of the building, 27 herring, 80 eggs, 80 onions and 80 beetroot for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only the yield changes, at level 1 and 2 you get 27 pieces, at level 7 you already get 32 pieces from the same amount of ingredients in the same time. It therefore pays to upgrade The Mermaid Bay as high as you can, because the cost per batch stays identical and only the profit from a single run grows. Buying it in the shop is not possible, so you have to plan production ahead and keep stocks of all four ingredients ready.

What to do with it

Labskaus is not processed any further in the production chain, no recipe uses it as an ingredient for anything else. You will mainly use it for selling and for filling customer contracts at the Market hall, because it is a finished consumer product. Thanks to its high base value it is also worth keeping in stock for the moments when customers happen to be asking for dishes of this kind.
