What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed sweet fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Fig seeds are the basic seed for the Greenhouse, which you unlock from level 30 on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm. You plant them in the Greenhouse and grow Figs from them, an exotic fruit that can't be bought or produced anywhere else in the game. They mainly serve as an input for shipping exports and as the base for further fruit refinement in the laboratory. Without these seeds you simply won't get to figs at all.

How to get it

You can't buy these seeds in the shop and there's no production recipe for them either, so you won't get them through any planned move in a building. They land in your temporary storage as rewards for missions and game events, or from mystery boxes, so the fastest route is to complete daily and weekly missions and keep opening boxes as they come. It pays to stockpile them and use them all at once when your Greenhouse is ready for a longer run.

What to do with it

You plant the seeds in the Greenhouse, where they grow into Figs. You then offer those to Captain Barnacle when his ship docks in the harbor and he is after figs. On top of that, you can use figs as an input for producing Special fig seeds in the Farm laboratory, so it's worth setting part of the harvest aside instead of selling it all to the captain straight away.

Tip from a veteran player Before you plant the seeds, check whether Barnacle's ship happens to be docked and wants figs, so you don't end up waiting for a harvest that goes to waste.

Most common mistake Players often burn through the seeds on the ship's first request and keep no reserve of figs for producing Special seeds in the Farm laboratory.
