Grow in cocoa tree orchards and can be made into cocoa powder in the crushing mill.

Cocoa beans are a basic raw material from the Candy farm that you grow in the cocoa orchard. They serve as the input for making cocoa powder in the grinding mill. You can't buy them in the shop, you only get them by harvesting the orchard. They become available at farm level 30.

How to get it

It pays to harvest for 50 Gold on the 6-hour rate regardless of the orchard's level - with every orchard level the yield doubles (125, 250, 500 and finally 1000 units), so the main investment belongs in upgrading the building, not in picking the recipe. The alternative recipe for Candy Farm Cash gives exactly the same yield in the same time, just in a more expensive currency, so it isn't worth it. If you have some event seaweed fertilizer on hand, feel free to burn it here - you'll harvest more beans instantly and get 3000 experience on top.

What to do with it

I only send cocoa beans to the grinding mill, where they get ground into cocoa powder. They aren't used anywhere else in the game, so keep a stock only based on how much powder you currently need.

Tip from a veteran player It pays to push the cocoa orchard to the highest level, because the recipe doesn't get more expensive and the yield doubles with every level.
