The only fish in this set with its own production recipe and at the same time the most widely used - it pays to produce it at Oleg Fisher and split it between The Mermaid Bay and the Fish stand.

Tuna is the only fish in this set that can actually be produced from a recipe - at Oleg Fisher I choose from several batches, from 14 pieces for 10 minutes and 1050 dollars up to large batches lasting several hours, and the selection is the same at all three levels of the building. Besides that, you'll also find it on the Main farm, Gourmet farm and Flower farm. In the farm economy it's the most widely used fish of the seven, because two buildings process it. The base price of 1500 dollars is considerably higher than what producing it yourself costs you.

How to get it

The cheapest route to tuna goes through Oleg Fisher - a short batch produces 14 pieces for 1050 dollars and 10 minutes, which works out to 75 dollars apiece, substantially less than the base price of 1500 dollars apiece. There's also a 15-piece option that runs for ten minutes, and alongside those there are longer batches, 147 or 191 pieces for 2 hours, 315 or 409 pieces for 5 hours and 367 or 477 pieces for 7 hours, so I pick based on when I'll be back at the farm. The selection is the same at level 1, 2 and 3, so a higher building level makes no difference at all as far as these recipes go.

What to do with it

Tuna is processed in two buildings at once. At The Mermaid Bay it becomes Blackened tuna tacos, Temaki sushi and Sushi platter, while at the Fish stand it goes into Fish salad and Fish stew.
