What it's for
A mix of fresh fish and seasonal fresh vegetables helps create this healthy and nutritious dish.
Fish salad comes out of the Fish stand by combining fresh fish with vegetables, and the game presents it as a heartier option than plain stew. I make it on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm from the building's first level, and production takes 24 minutes, noticeably longer than stew. The base price of 30800 dollars shows this is a more valuable product, one where it pays to invest time in gathering the more demanding ingredients.
How to get it
I cannot buy salad in the shop, I have to make it. At the first recipe level I get by with Cabbage and one Tuna, the simplest and cheapest combination. From the second level the recipe calls for Scorpionfish plus one more ingredient on top, and at the fourth and fifth level Herring and Salmon are added as well, so I only move up to the higher recipes once I have a stock of all these fish, otherwise the stand would just sit waiting.
What to do with it
Since it is a more valuable dish, I tend to save fish salad for customer contracts that pay better for it rather than selling it on the market in bulk.
