What it's for
A simple yet popular dish. Fish stew might not be the most gourmet meal, but it alway satisfies a hungry stomach.
I make Fish stew at the Fish stand on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm, and it is available right from the building's first level. The game describes it as a dish that is no delicacy but will fill up even the hungriest eater, and the simple fish-based recipe matches that exactly. A base price of 6400 dollars and a cycle of four and a half minutes make it the fastest fish dish in this group. I treat it as one of the basic products for turning a fishing haul into cash quickly.
How to get it
Stew cannot be bought in the shop, the only way to it is production at the stand. The first recipe level needs just one Perch, which is the cheapest and fastest option, and I stick with it myself as long as I have plenty of perch from fishing. Higher recipe levels add Tuna and eventually one more ingredient on top, so I only switch to them when I have a stock of fish that will keep the stand from standing idle.
What to do with it
Stew is mainly useful to me as filler for customer contracts where a cheaper dish is enough and speed matters more than value per unit, and I simply sell the rest on the market.
