What it's for
Professor James and his team are working hard on finding out as much as they can about the previous inhabitants of this region.
The Ancient statue takes up the same 4x3 tiles as the stone slab, but gives 52 happiness points, which is 4.3 points per tile. You can buy it in the shop for 30,000 Gold from level 114.
What to do with it
On the Obsidian farm, build it instead of the stone slab if you have more Gold to spare. It takes up the same area and gives more happiness. It pays off for anyone who wants to squeeze more out of the same spot.
Tip from a veteran player It gives more happiness on the same footprint than the Ancient stone slab, so between the two, going for the statue makes sense.
