What it's for

This apiary produces more honey and wax than the normal one and brings a sugar-sweet atmosphere to your farm. If you demolish this building, you won't be able to build it again.

The sweet apiary is an animal building on the Flower farm where you turn nectar collected in the orchards into honey and wax for further processing and sale. It's an upgraded, candy version of the regular apiary which, according to the description, gives more honey and wax than the ordinary one. It suits players who already have the Flower farm up and running and want to raise the output of their bee production without building another separate apiary. Because of the high player level required for the first stage, it's more of a building for experienced players with a developed farm.

When to build it

Since it can't be bought in the shop, you don't get to decide about building it again, only about whether you use it to the full once you have it. The first stage asks for player level 56, so you'll run into this building only with a fairly advanced Flower farm, when your nectar orchards are already well established. Once you have it, it pays to leave it standing next to the regular apiary and split your honey and wax production between the two buildings.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is pretty much mandatory here, because at level one you get just 1 wax from one batch of nectar, while at the top level it's 78, and with super nectar even 93. Honey grows from 44 to 110 per batch, but the main reason to upgrade is precisely the wax, which you barely produce at all at a low level.

Tip from a veteran player If what you're after is mainly wax for crafting recipes, it isn't worth it until you've pulled the sweet apiary up at least a few levels, until then you're basically only getting honey out of it.

Most common mistake Players often leave this building at a low level and then wonder why they're short of wax, when all it takes is a look at the level table, where you can see that wax production unlocks gradually and is almost zero at the start.
