The Festive workshop is a production building on the Festive farm where you turn raw materials like red flax, fir wood, berries and dyed wool into finished festive items, namely the Christmas tree, the Christmas wreath, the reindeer figurine and the Santa hat. You don't buy it in the shop, you get your hands on it another way, for example by completing a quest or through an event on the Festive farm. It's the central processing building of the entire festive supply chain, because without it the materials from your other festive buildings have nowhere to go. It suits anyone who plays the Festive farm actively and wants to turn the materials they've collected into finished festive products.

When to build it

Since you don't buy it in the shop, the real question is when and how hard to upgrade it once you have it. Because it eats materials from the wintry field and the other festive buildings, it makes sense to get it running as soon as you have a stock of red flax and the rest, so the workshop isn't sitting there idle.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is worth it, because at the top level the production time for all four recipes is cut in half compared to level one, the Christmas tree for example drops from 8 hours to 4, while the amounts of materials and finished goods per batch stay the same. So it's purely a faster turnaround on recipes, not bigger or more profitable batches.

Tip from a veteran player Pick your recipes based on which materials you have piled up the most of, the Santa hat needs only red flax, while the Christmas tree also eats fir wood, berries and dyed wool on top of the flax, so you'll get the most out of the workshop when the recipe matches what's actually in your stores.
