What it's for

Sunflower seeds can be planted in fields.

Sunflower seeds are among the Secondary resources for sowing on the Main farm, and they're a noticeably more expensive item than ordinary seeds. They can't be bought in the shop and there's no production recipe for them in the game either. Once planted on a field, they grow into sunflowers, which the farm processes further. Precisely because the usual way of obtaining them is missing, they're one of the harder-to-get resources for fields.

How to get it

Since sunflower seeds can't be bought in the shop and have no production recipe, you won't get them the usual way and have to wait for them as a reward, whether from completing quests, events or from mystery boxes in the temporary storage. The base value of 823 Gold per unit hints at how rare a resource they are compared to other seeds.

What to do with it

I plant sunflower seeds on any field and sunflowers grow from them.
