What it's for

Sugar cane grows in sugar fields and can be made into sugar in the sugar mill.

Sugar cane is the second crop you will find on the candy fields of the Candy farm, right next to the grapes. The Sugar mill turns it into sugar, the basic ingredient for further recipes. Like the rest of the farm it is only available from level 30. Without cane there is no other way to get sugar.

How to get it

You cannot get cane in the shop; it only grows on the candy field and its base value is 37 Candy dollars per unit. At field level 1 you harvest 20 units per hour, at level 4 it is already 160 units in the same time. The alternative is Special sugar cane seeds, which at the maximum field level yield 560 units in 5 hours 50 minutes.

What to do with it

Cane goes exclusively to the Sugar mill, where it is turned into sugar.

Tip from a veteran player Raise the candy field to level 4 first and only then grow cane on it; you will then get eight times as many units from the same hour.

Most common mistake It is a waste to plant cane at a low field level, where in the same hour you harvest only a fraction of what you get at level 4.
