What it's for

Special sugar cane seeds have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special sugar cane seeds are an upgraded variety of seeds for the Candy field on the Candy farm, unlocked from level 35. The cane grows from them at a different pace and with a different yield than regular seeds give, so from a single sowing of the field you get a harvest of different speed and size. Their base price is 500 Gold, the same as sweet grape seeds, so they are among the more expensive special seeds on this farm. They are a rare reward, not an item you can routinely buy more of.

How to get it

These seeds can't be bought in the shop and I haven't found a recipe for producing them in the game. They only come into your storage as a reward, usually from boxes in the temporary storage or for completing missions and events, so it's a matter of patience and playing, not buying.

What to do with it

They are planted in the Candy field, where they grow into Sugar cane. On their own they have no other use, they aren't sold and aren't processed further, the value comes only with the harvested cane, which you then process further or sell through contracts.

Tip from a veteran player It pays to use them when you need to top up cane quickly for processing, because their different growth pace is made exactly for that, not on a field where time doesn't matter.

Most common mistake It's a shame to use them on a plot that would ripen shortly even with regular seeds, that way you just needlessly burn through a rare reward without any extra benefit.
