What it's for

Sugar beets grow in sugar fields and can be made into syrup in the sugar mill.

Sugar beet is the third resource of the candy fields, this time meant for making syrup in the Sugar mill. It complements grapes and cane as a crop without which you would have no other way to get syrup. You reach the farm from level 30, just like the field's other crops. In the candy farm economy it is one of the three pillars of the candy field.

How to get it

You cannot buy beet in the shop; you can only grow it on the candy field. At field level 1 you get 30 units, at level 4 already 240 units, but a run takes 4 hours. Special sugar beet seeds, on the other hand, are fast, yielding 40 units at field level 4 in just 10 minutes, which makes them handy for quickly topping up a small amount.

What to do with it

Beet goes to the Sugar mill, where it is turned into syrup.

Tip from a veteran player For large stocks of beet use the four-hour batch without seeds, and for quickly topping up a few units in between reach for Special sugar beet seeds.
Most common mistake Relying only on the fast ten-minute seeds is a mistake; a yield of 5 to 40 units per run is not enough for smooth syrup production on a larger scale.
