To me it is the flashiest looking of the three orchards, but functionally it is exactly the same as both the others. I take it purely for the looks, not for a higher yield.

What it's for

Not only much bigger than the regular orchard, this enormous orchard also comes with a very much higher production output.

The Spectacular almond orchard rounds off the trio of biggest orchards on the Gourmet farm alongside the Glorious and the Deluxe one. The description promises a very much higher output, which sounds like the top of the range, but the level table shows numbers identical to both the others. It takes the same 7x14 tiles, processes the same fertilizers into almonds and leaves, and at level one it needs seven workers from player level 24. It is more of an alternative design for players who specifically like this orchard's look than a separate production choice.

When to build it

Building it makes sense when you don't have any of the three orchards on the Gourmet farm yet and you happen to like this look, otherwise there is no extra economic reason over the Glorious or Deluxe orchard. You won't get below player level 24, so don't worry about it before then. One per farm is plenty, because you raise production by upgrading, not by buying more orchards.

Is it worth upgrading

Maxing it out pays off the same as with the other two versions. The premium fertilizer recipe grows from 180 to 400 almonds while keeping the four-hour production, even though you will gradually add up to 32 full-time workers. The most noticeable step is between level eight and nine, where the required player level jumps from 86 to 140.

Tip from a veteran player Before I pour another level into the orchard, I would rather check whether I have enough fertilizer for the higher consumption and enough money for more workers, otherwise it just stands there unused.

Most common mistake From the description you would expect this to be the strongest of all three orchards, but the reality is that production, price and times are exactly the same as with the Glorious and the Deluxe orchard.
