What it's for

Lemurs are bred in the lemur pen. They need lemur feed, which is made from grapes in the tropical mill.

The lemur enclosure is the bigger, pricier sibling of the peacock pen, this time running on grapes and covering 9x8. Ten units of feed get you lemurs and manure, and the event seaweed feed can finish the production instantly. It belongs to players who already have island fields running with plenty of grapes.

When to build it

It's worth waiting until you have more island fields for grapes and a mill that can keep up with processing them, because even the first level costs 60000 Island dollars and a single batch of feed takes 5 hours 50 minutes. Building it as your first building on the Island farm makes no sense.

Is it worth upgrading

Just like with the peacocks, upgrading is mainly about yield, at max level one batch gives you 2040 lemurs instead of 600 and manure rises from 500 to 700, while the time and feed consumption stay the same. The price climbs to 3500000 Island dollars at level four with 28 workers, so it's more of a long-term investment.

Tip from a veteran player Since a batch takes 5 hours 50 minutes even at max level, your best bet is to start it in the evening and collect in the morning, so the building isn't sitting there finished and idle.

Most common mistake Players build the enclosure before they have enough grapes for regular feeding, and then the building spends most of its time waiting on resources instead of workers.
