The Deluxe almond orchard is another of the three biggest orchards on the Gourmet farm, with the same 7x14 footprint and the same inputs and outputs as the other two versions. The description promises a much higher production output, but in game that means exactly the same as the Glorious orchard. It suits players who already have fertilizer production running on the Gourmet farm and want almonds and leaves in bigger amounts, not complete beginners, because level one needs seven workers and player level 24.

When to build it

Building it makes sense the moment you have a fertilizer surplus on the Gourmet farm and want to turn it into almonds, typically from player level 24 upwards. There is no point putting this version next to the Glorious or Spectacular orchard on the same farm, because production doesn't stack any differently than usual, you would just double your worker and space costs. Pick one look and keep upgrading that one.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is worth taking all the way to nine, because the seaweed fertilizer recipe for example grows from 234 to 512 almonds at zero production time. Count on the worker count rising from seven to 32 though, and on level nine only unlocking at player level 140 while eight needs just 86, so there is a noticeable gap between them.

Tip from a veteran player When I am mainly after XP, I reach for the bigger seaweed fertilizer versions (L, XL, XXL), because besides almonds they bring bonus experience and finish instantly.

Most common mistake Plenty of players assume from the name that the deluxe version is a better investment than the glorious one. In reality it is a purely cosmetic choice and both the price and the production match exactly on every level.
