What it's for

Special orange seeds have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special orange seeds are upgraded seeds for the Island field on the Island farm, which the game makes available from level 30. Compared to regular orange seeds they grow at a different speed and give a different harvest size. They are a rare item, not a resource you would normally buy by the dozen. Their base price is set at 500 Gold, even though they aren't available in the shop.

How to get it

You won't buy the seeds in the shop, the game doesn't offer them for purchase, and I haven't found a recipe for producing them. You only get them as a reward, for example from boxes in the temporary storage or for completed missions and events, so the best strategy is simply to collect rewards, not to hunt for them with Gold.

What to do with it

The only use for these seeds is to plant them in the Island field, where they grow into Oranges. You don't sell or process the seed itself anywhere, the value comes only with the harvested fruit, which you then use further or sell through customer contracts.

Tip from a veteran player Use them when you need an orange harvest faster or in larger quantities than regular seeds give, for example right before a contract deadline where every piece counts.

Most common mistake Plenty of players mix them up with regular orange seeds and plant them in the first free field without thinking about whether they actually need a faster or richer harvest right now.
