What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed exotic fruits, which you can then load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Lime seeds are the basic seeds for the Greenhouse, from which you grow Limes, another exotic fruit for ship trading with Captain Barnacle. In the game they are available from level 30 on the Main farm, Gourmet farm and Flower farm, and with a base value of 55 Gold they are the cheapest seeds of the four exotic seed types. You cannot buy them in the shop and the game lists no production recipe for them, they serve purely as the input material for growing limes in the greenhouse.

How to get it

Because lime seeds have no production recipe and cannot be bought in the shop, their real value only shows once you plant them in the greenhouse and get Limes out of them. The low base price of 55 Gold suggests they are the most accessible seeds of all four exotic types, meaning the least costly starting choice before you get production of the pricier fruit going.

What to do with it

The only listed use of lime seeds is as input for the Greenhouse, where you make Limes from them.

Tip from a veteran player I use lime seeds as the first step to get a growing cycle going in the greenhouse before I move on to the more expensive exotic seeds.
Most common mistake It easily happens that a player expects lime seeds in the shop among the regular seeds and looks for them in the wrong place, they reach the greenhouse by a different route than a classic purchase.
