What it's for

Goldflower seeds can be planted in fields.

Golden flower seeds are a secondary resource you sow on a field so that golden flowers grow from them. They are used on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm, right from level 1. This is not a product you process further or sell, it is seed stock that kicks off golden flower production on any type of field. Their base value is 1000 Gold apiece, even though you do not buy them directly in the shop.

How to get it

There is no production recipe assigned to the seeds in the game, so you do not get them by producing them in a building of your own. In practice you need to have them in your inventory from another source and use them for sowing on a Field, Fertile field, Wintry fertile field, Rural fertile field, Autumnal fertile field, Glorious field, Deluxe field or Spectacular field. Since they are not bought in the shop at a base price, hunting for the cheapest purchase makes no sense here, it is only about having them ready the moment you want to sow a field.

What to do with it

The only use is sowing on one of the field types, where one seed produces golden flowers. The seeds have no other consumption in the game.

Tip from a veteran player Before I sow my fertile or seasonal fields, I first work out whether I have enough seeds for all the fields at once, so my golden flower production does not run half empty.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is leaving a field empty because the player is waiting for cheaper seeds, when in fact this is an input resource with no direct purchase option in the shop.
