What it's for

This old abandoned mine begs to be explored by your most adventurous villagers.

The Desert mine is a hefty piece, taking up 8x4 tiles and giving 200 happiness points, plus another 60 happiness points for the village. That comes to 6.2 points per tile, so it pushes happiness up a lot in a single spot. I can't buy it in the shop, I only get it from regular game events.

What to do with it

Thanks to its good per-tile efficiency I build it wherever I want to save space and still boost happiness a lot - it can go on the Main farm, Gourmet farm, Flower farm and in Decoration Valley, and right from the start of the game too, you don't need any level for it.

Tip from a veteran player As soon as you see it on offer in some game event, don't hesitate to take it - you can't buy it in the shop and the next chance may be a long way off.
