What it's for

Special grape seeds have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special grape seeds are seeds for the Island field on the Island farm, available from level 30. The vines grow from them at a different pace and give a different yield than classic grape seeds, and you harvest Grapes from them directly. With a base price of 250 Gold they are among the cheaper items in the family of special seeds on the Island farm, even though they aren't sold in the shop. They are a rare reward, not a resource you'll always have on hand.

How to get it

Neither buying in the shop nor producing them at home is an option with these seeds, the game doesn't offer them for purchase and I haven't found a recipe for them. They come as a reward, typically from boxes in the temporary storage or for completed missions and events, so you only get them when the game itself offers them.

What to do with it

They have a single use, planting them in the Island field, from which you harvest Grapes directly. You don't sell or process the seeds themselves any further, the value lies in the resulting grapes, which you send on for further processing or sell through contracts.

Tip from a veteran player Since they are the cheapest of the special seeds on offer on the Island farm, don't be afraid to use them even for smaller, quick top-ups of your grape stock, and save the pricier orange or peanut seeds for tougher situations.

Most common mistake A frequent mistake is leaving these cheaper seeds sitting uselessly in the temporary storage just in case, instead of using them to top up your grape stock whenever it comes in handy.
