What it's for

A pretty good construction material for buildings. You can produce it in the minerals and metals factory.

Cement is a raw material from the Mineral and metal factory on the Cooperative village farm. It serves as an intermediate step towards more expensive products, not for direct sale. You can't buy it in the shop, the only way to get it is to make it yourself. In the same factory it goes on to become Reinforced concrete and the Pipe. That makes it one of the basic raw materials of this whole production chain.

How to get it

It is produced exclusively in the Mineral and metal factory, the recipe is available from building level 19 and works unchanged all the way to level 32. For one batch of 22 pieces taking 3 hours you need 11 Clay, 22 Pebbles and 94 Charcoal, so a higher factory level won't save you anything on raw material consumption. Since buying it in the shop isn't possible, it pays to produce cement continuously, not just at the moment you need it.

What to do with it

You process cement further in the factory into Reinforced concrete and the Pipe, so there's no point in selling it on its own. Its value lies in keeping the follow-up production of more expensive products running.

Tip from a veteran player Make cement to stock up in advance so you always have enough raw material on hand for both concrete and the pipe and don't have to wait three hours for a new batch in the middle of other production.

Most common mistake A common mistake is leaving cement production to the last moment, when you happen to need it for concrete or the pipe, and then needlessly waiting for the batch to finish.
