What it's for

The best way to store fish is to can them. This way they stay fresh for a long time, and can easily be delivered to your fish-loving customers.

Canned fish is a pickled fish product made in The Mermaid Bay from Goldfin tuna, Salmon and Herring. Pickling preserves the fish, so I always have a tin in stock even when I have no fresh fish on hand. It is produced for the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm. The base value of one unit is 449216 dollars.

How to get it

The only recipe available is at level 7 of The Mermaid Bay - from 5 Goldfin tuna, 6 Salmon and 4 Herring you produce 11 tins there in 8 hours. Until you push the building up to level seven, you cannot make canned fish at all, so it is an obvious goal when upgrading The Mermaid Bay. It cannot be bought in the shop.

What to do with it

Sell the canned fish or use it for customer contracts on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm.

Tip from a veteran player Plan your salmon and tuna production ahead so the stock you prepare covers the full eight-hour batch exactly and The Mermaid Bay never sits idle.

Most common mistake It is a shame to put off upgrading The Mermaid Bay to level 7, because without it canned fish cannot be made at all.
