What it's for

The water tower reduces the amount of feed and fertilizer required by your stables and orchards.

The water tower is a special building with no workers and no production of its own, and its only job is to lower the amount of feed and fertilizer your animal buildings and orchards need. You buy it exclusively for gold and it works separately on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm. It pays off for anyone running animal buildings or orchards who wants to cut their running costs.

When to build it

It makes sense to build from player level 14, once you have animal buildings or orchards on that farm that regularly eat feed or fertilizer. One per farm is enough, because the effect covers the whole farm.

Is it worth upgrading

Every further level lowers feed and fertilizer use, the price rises from 1300 to 33500 gold and the build time stretches from 30 minutes to 13.5 hours. Since it needs no workers, it's worth upgrading to the max as soon as you have the gold and the farm meets the required player level (up to level 30).

Tip from a veteran player Don't build it on a farm where you currently have no animal buildings or orchards, because with no feed or fertilizer being used it saves you nothing.

Most common mistake Players often build it too late, when in fact the sooner you have it, the more resources you save cumulatively over your whole time playing.
