What it's for

The doghouse is where your very own farm dog lives. If you feed it well, your farm will receive additional happiness. Furthermore, your dog will learn a new trick for each doghouse upgrade.

On the Flower farm you will find the same type of building as on the Gourmet farm - a doghouse where your dog lives and raises happiness whenever you feed it. The principle is identical, only the prices and unlock levels are higher here, because the Flower farm is meant for more advanced players. Again it is purely a happiness building, not a production one. It is handy for anyone who wants to cut production costs on this farm through higher happiness.

When to build it

The first level unlocks at player level 34 for 100 000 dollars, so ten levels later and at twice the price of the same building on the Gourmet farm. Even so, the build is cheap compared with what the farm earns at this stage, so put it up as soon as it appears in the shop.

Is it worth upgrading

The dollar levels go up to the fifth (2 500 000 dollars, unlocked at player level 54) and it pays to upgrade as you go, because the price rises in step with your income. From the sixth level (unlocked at level 59) you pay gold, from 4 900 up to 99 000, and construction takes from 12 hours to 2 days - that stage is more for players with gold to spare than a must-have for running the farm.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start upgrading with gold, check whether you have already taken care of the more important gold buildings on this farm - the doghouse can wait.

Most common mistake People buy the expensive gold levels right after unlocking them even though they are still missing cheaper and more important production buildings on the Flower farm.
