What it's for
The doghouse is where your very own farm dog lives. If you feed it well, your farm will receive additional happiness. Furthermore, your dog will learn a new trick for each doghouse upgrade.
The doghouse is a special building on the main farm where your farm dog lives, and looking after him earns your farm extra happiness, which in turn means lower production costs. You can buy it in the shop as early as level 6 for just 500 dollars, which makes it one of the very first special buildings any player picks up. It doesn't produce anything, it's purely about happiness and the dog accessories you unlock along the way.
When to build it
It's worth building the moment you unlock it at level 6, because it's cheap and happiness comes in handy right from the start of the game. One doghouse per farm is enough.
Is it worth upgrading
Upgrading runs across ten levels, from 500 dollars at the start to 79000 gold for level 10, which is available from player level 53. Each upgrade also unlocks a new accessory for the dog, so it's worth moving the doghouse up step by step as your level and your funds allow.
