What it's for

Take some corn, throw it on a hot plate and voila, fresh popcorn!

Popcorn is one of the basic goods you start producing right at level 1 - you'll find it on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm. It's made simply by popping corn on the stove, so it's one of the first money-making products you'll come across on the farm. You can't buy it in the shop, so you have to count on producing all of it yourself. Its base price is 610 Dollars, which makes it a decent source of income even in the early stages of the game.

How to get it

Since the shop doesn't offer it, the only way is to produce it yourself in a production building, on any of the three farms where it's available. It's worth putting into production right from the start of the game, because you don't have to wait for a higher farm level to unlock it. If you have free capacity on several farms at once, spread popcorn production between them so you don't end up with a queue on just one.

What to do with it

Popcorn isn't processed into anything else, so you either sell your whole stock straight away or use it to complete a customer contract when a customer asks for it. Because you can produce it on all three farms, it also works well as a filler for spare production capacity when you have nothing more profitable going.

Tip from a veteran player Produce popcorn wherever you happen to have a building standing idle - you can run it on all three farms at the same time, so you never have to wait for a slot to free up.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is expecting popcorn to show up in the shop - since you won't find it there, you're wasting time you could spend producing it instead.
