You make Apple jam in the Jam factory on the Gourmet farm out of apples. It's a processed product worth more than raw apples, so it pays to refine them this way instead of just dumping the fruit on the market. The base price is 21000 Dollars per unit, which makes it a solid earner among the things you produce on the Gourmet farm. In the farm economy it works mainly as goods to sell, not as an ingredient for anything further.

How to get it

It's made in the Jam factory from a recipe of 950 apples and 170 units of a second ingredient for a batch of 130 jars of jam, production takes 2 hours and the recipe stays the same at every factory level. Before you start a batch you need the apples fully stocked, because they all get used up at once. It's worth making mainly when you have a surplus of apples and want to squeeze more out of them than you'd get from selling the raw fruit.

What to do with it

You send the finished jam mostly to the market and into customer contracts, there's no further processing for it on the Gourmet farm.
