What it's for

The spacious barn allows you to store more products and farm supplies in one place. The more you upgrade your spacious barn, the larger its capacity becomes.

The spacious barn is the storage building on the main farm that raises how much produce and supplies you can stockpile, so you don't have to rush surpluses out below price. You'll find it in the shop from the very start of the game; at the first level it costs just 450 gold and gives you 300 units of capacity. It's a basic building for anyone who wants to farm on a larger scale and doesn't want to be held back by a tiny storehouse.

When to build it

It makes sense to build it practically at the start of the game, because even the first level, available from level 0, gives decent capacity for a few hundred gold.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off basically all game long. Capacity grows from 300 units at the first level up to 7000 at the twelfth, and I'd push the lower levels, up to around 2400 capacity at player level 64, as soon as I could, while the top levels from player level 109 upwards are pretty pricey in gold, from 59000 to 127600, and take three to six days to build, so I'd rather save those for later.

Tip from a veteran player Upgrade the barn before your storage starts to overflow, because a full storehouse forces you either to sell cheap or to throw the surplus away.

Most common mistake Players leave the barn at a low level for far too long and then find their storage overflowing and production stopping because there's no room left.
