What it's for

You need the barn to store products and farm supplies. The more you upgrade your barn, the more it will store.

The barn is your storage for goods and farm supplies, and without it any surplus production simply goes to waste, because there's nowhere to put it. It stands on the Main farm, measures 7x6 and you buy it in the shop. It's a must for every player, because storage capacity limits how much you can actually produce and stockpile at any one time.

When to build it

Build your first barn right at the start, it costs only 1,000 dollars and is finished in 12 minutes. Handle further upgrades as you go, depending on how fast your storage fills up. The more fields, animal buildings and production buildings you get running, the sooner you'll hit the capacity ceiling.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is clearly worth it, because capacity grows from 200 at the start up to 2,000 at level twelve. The first levels are cheap, but from level four the prices jump into the millions and the top level costs 45,000 diamonds, so at that point only upgrade when you really need to.

Tip from a veteran player Keep an eye on how often your barn fills to the brim and upgrade it before a full store starts costing you the goods you've produced.

Most common mistake Players often leave the barn at a low level for far too long and unknowingly lose the surplus production that no longer fits into storage.
