What it's for

The adventurer's lodge determines the construction speed on your farm, offers some storage space and workers, and gives you access to your research.

The Adventurer's homestead is the main building of the Obsidian farm - it determines how fast you build and upgrade everything else there, it houses part of your workforce, it doubles as storage and it opens up the research for this farm. It stands in the middle of the farm from the moment you unlock the Obsidian farm at player level 114, so you don't buy it in the shop like the other buildings. It takes up 10x8 and it's the foundation without which you won't get anywhere on this farm.

When to build it

You don't have to build it yourself, it appears automatically when the Obsidian farm unlocks. The only decision you have here is how quickly to upgrade it - and since it affects the build speed of absolutely everything else on the farm, it's worth giving it priority as soon as you reach the player level and the money an upgrade needs.

Is it worth upgrading

The table has six levels, from the unlock at level 114 to the sixth level at player level 214. Every step adds both housing, from 14 workers to 24, and storage capacity, from 200 to 450. The price climbs from 80000 to 2400000 obsidian dollars and the build time from an hour and a half to over a day, but because the building speeds up all further construction on the farm, it's worth upgrading ahead of the other buildings rather than last.

Tip from a veteran player Always keep the main building among the first things you save up for on the Obsidian farm - the faster construction it brings pays you back on every other building you still put up or upgrade there.

Most common mistake Players underrate the main building and go straight for production buildings, then spend needlessly long waiting for every new structure to finish, because their build speed stayed low.
